Rotary Club of Adelaide Parks Scholarship Program

At

AGN SCHOOL

A Unit of GIFT Foundation

This program awards scholarships to enable deserving students hailing from the larger Konganapuram area to study 9th through 12th standard at AGN, starting from the academic year 2010-11. The selection is based on academic potential, financial need as well as social consciousness of the applicant, and it is administered through written tests and selection interviews.  The awardees, named as "Adelaide Parks Rotary Scholars", will receive the full-funding for tuition and hostel expenses for the four years of study at AGN. The objective of the program is to support talented students who cannot afford to attend a school like AGN, and to encourage their social responsibility so that the scholars will eventually return to enrich their native area. Led by the Rotary Club of Adelaide Parks, Australia, with support from the Rotary Foundation, Rotary Club of Victor Harbour, Rotary Club of Sydney and Rotary Club of Sidcup, UK. We are proud that a member of the first batch of Rotary Scholars from AGN, Ragavendran Ramesh Babu has contributed funding after starting his professional career.

We are very proud to announce that our alumnus Tr. Ragavendran Ramesh Babu (Adelaide Rotary Scholar batch 2010-14) got admission in the prestigious IIM, Bangalore recently. After graduating in Production Engineering from PSG Tech, Coimbatore he worked in Bajaj Auto, Pune for four years. To further progress in his career, he wrote the CAT 2022 exam, successfully selected in an interview and got admission in IIM, Bangalore.
